Jus Vun - Fashion, Portrait, Event Photographer based in Tokyo, Japan

BIO:

Jus Vun was born on the island of Borneo, migrating to Australia during his childhood years and graduated with a Business degree. After a career in Financial Systems he moved to Tokyo and quickly discovered a passion for photography whilst immersing himself in Japanese arts & culture. 

After shooting documentary-style photography for travel and corporate clients, he moved to Paris in 2012 to pursue a European MFA in Photography at SPEOS Photographic Institute and shifted his focus to fashion photography. 

His work reflects the duality of the human psyche. He has a keen interest in the human condition, urban & underground subcultures and the beauty of the female form. He continues to endeavor his time to photography, fashion, the arts and travel in which he has been to over 25 countries. 

He is fluent in English and can converse in Japanese, Mandarin Chinese & a few lines of French.

2006 - Moved to Tokyo and worked in education industry and freelanced as Documentary photographer

2013 - Finalist Vandals Magazine Fashion Now Contest

2014 - Returned to Tokyo and started working as Fashion & Portrait photographer

2015 - Founded LE GRAND BILLET, fashion & luxury event photography .

2017 - Represented in Paris by Arc et la Tour management

2019 - Founded GAMMA, an agency focusing on film & photography.
